On September 25th, Thomas John and Jessica Hattabaugh were accepted via Mr. Gibson's nomination to a writing seminar with renowned author Julia Alaverez at St. Mary's College. The seminar included a meet-and-greet, dinner, multiple seminars delivered by Alvarez herself, and a tour of St. Mary's College's campus.

A big thank you to our Guidance Counselors Kim Dobson and Mike Rosta as well as our participants. Our students enjoyed interacting with members of the community and gaining valuable information.
Today at UTMS, Mrs. Klimczak took her 6th grade class outside for a nature walk! Students had the opportunity to observe and identify both biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) factors in their environment. Hands-on experiences like this help bring classroom lessons to life while letting students connect with the world around them!
Our very creative Bearcats are having so much fun with our pumpkin decorating contest! Voting begins tomorrow and the winners of each category will be announced Friday!

Accepting Donations at WHS and at the Football Game Friday Night!
Wheeler High School is proud of Liam King and Jude Richardson. They are part of a prestigious group of academically talented high school juniors who scored in the top 1% of test-takers nationally on the PSAT/NMSQT.
This past weekend was the Coaster Challenge to support Special Olympics. UTSC staff members, with some aid from others, helped raise $800 to support the cause. Thank you to all involved!! #BEARCATNATION
