Our UTMS Choir did an amazing job tonight sharing their Christmas songs and spreading holiday cheer. The festive spirit was alive and well thanks to their beautiful performance. Congratulations to our UCE Spell Bowl team for their first place win in the Spell Bowl! Congratulations to Henry Underwood for a near perfect score and Violet Volini and Emma Biscocho for their perfect scores! This amazing team, led by Miss Barker, finished 10th in the state of Indiana. Mr. Harnew took our 8th-grade We the People teams to the regional competition today, and our students did an incredible job! They walked away as Runner-Ups, and we are so proud of them all! Their hard work, preparation, and teamwork truly shined through. Thank you, Mr. Harnew, for your dedication and leadership in guiding our students to success.

Mrs. Laba's AP Chem students have been busy in the lab this trimester! They synthesized zinc iodide, became experts at titration, and collected and analyzed temperature data to determine the heat of neutralization for several reactions.

Today, UTMS celebrated our veterans at our Veterans Day program. The event was filled with pride and gratitude as we honored veterans from all branches of the armed forces. We extend our deepest thanks to the men and women who have served our country, sacrificing so much to protect our freedoms. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness inspire us all. A special thank you to Mrs. Kincaid for her hard work in organizing the event and to our student council for leading today’s ceremony. The program was truly moving, reminding us all of the enduring strength and resilience of those who serve.
