WHS Blood Drive & "Be the Match" BLOOD DRIVE: The WHS National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive at Wheeler High School. If you are able, please consider donating blood at WHS on Thursday, April 17 from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM. With your donation, you can potentially save up to 3 lives. https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive and search for "WheelerHS" "Be The Match" Donor Drive: In conjunction with the WHS blood drive, we are also holding a National Marrow Donor Program "Be the Match" drive. Students/adults age 18-40 have the opportunity to complete a cheek swab and have their genetic code entered into a database. If at some point in the future you are a match for a patient in need of a stem cell transplant, you will commit to a minor outpatient procedure to donate to a patient in need. To learn more and/or sign up for the registry, simply show up at the blood drive, text "Wheeler" to 61474, or sign up for a cheek swab kit by mail at https://my.nmdp.org/Wheeler.
