Once a Bearcat, Always a Bearcat!
I began my career as a teacher at Union Township Middle School in 2010. While there, I taught 8th grade Language Arts and coached a variety of middle and high school sports. After six years of teaching, I became an assistant principal at Porter Township School Corporation. In 2017, I was honored to be named the principal at Union Center Elementary School. As an educator and coach in the community, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with students in elementary, middle, and high school, and I have seen firsthand all the great things the parents and community have done to positively impact our students, schools, and community.
I received my BS from Indiana University South Bend, MS from Valparaiso University, and principal Licensure from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am a lifelong learner, and will continue to push myself to be the best I can be. I believe in taking pride in your community, which is why I remain active in many clubs and organizations throughout NWI.
I care about our community, and I take pride in being a Bearcat: Once a Bearcat, Always a Bearcat
